Article Abstract
Markedly increase signal intensity of dependent intraventricular fluid on diffusion-weighted MR imaging and an apparent diffusion coefficient that is less than that of normal cerebral white matter indicate restricted water diffusion in purulent fluid and suggest the diagnosis of pyogenic ventriculitis.
